Interpretation
Context c612 corresponds to a thin lens of dark greyish-brown soil, loose, mixed with powdery ahes, which is part of the thick layer c616 and located near the eastern wall of the sondage. Only a few pottery sherds have been recovered.
The interpretation is not straightforward, but if c616 correspond to an occupation layer, this thin layer could be related to hearth refuse.
