Area underneath the CBM (903)
Interpretation
904 is the area/soil underneath the CBM structure that is suposed to be an oven. The soil is fine and easy to remove but surounded by very hard and compact CBM. Contains soem pottery, shells, bones and lithics.
24/06/2025: we removed C904 to uncover a floor of the structure. the soil was brown and dark greyish brown, slightly disturbed by animals (some animal burrows). contained pottery and animal bones. Soil was loose and easily removable. Lots of pottery sherds from Late Neolithic II (black on red).
