continuation of c943
Interpretation
C946 is basically the same as c943, with very similar soil. We divided hem into 2 contexts in order to keep better management as it was a large area. It contained lots of material such as pottery, bones, CBM and shells. On the northeastern corner we found horns (peobally from deer) and a figurine (coordinates E: 475184.15, N: 4541911.16, Z: 70.56) with clear female characteristics (prests, pelvis, pubic area). it was perforated on the shoulders, prbally worn as a pendont. its 5 cm x 3.7cm and 7mm wide. On the southern side there was less CBM on the SE corner but lots of pottery (storage vessels). There was also a spindle whorl, chipped stones (flint). A charcoal smple was also collected. Animal bones on this context were bones of body parts without lots of meat, which was thrown outside of the house.
