Definition of NW side of the wall (c907)
Interpretation
c945 started as an attempt to find a continuation of the wall on the western side. We cleaned the area but it was heavily disturbed by animal burrows. It contained lots of CMB. Soil was basically the same texture as the wall, however we couldn't locate it. In the areas close to the wall, there was lots of CBM and some larger sherds of pottery. Some of it was black on red (late Neolithic II), but there were also incised sherds which coud be late Neolithic I.
