Description
A small pile of bones found in the upper part of the inner fill of the burial
Certainty of interpretation
medium confidence
Interpretation
Context 622 corresponds to a small assemblage of bones found in the center of the grave, on the upper portion of fill c619 and partially on a stone, very close to the deposit c617. It is possible that this assemblage originally belonged to the same deposit. However, osteological analysis is require to determine the nature of the bone remains, specifically whether they are animal or human bones, and whether they may have belonged to individual c623. As with the deposit context c621, the possibility of disturbances caused by animal activity cannot be ruled out.
