Med brick wall (E section)

Interpretation

Mud brick wall exposed during excavation (post season). The wall seems to be composed of a backed clay foundation with a n ashy/charcoal layer on top. This would have likly been to flatten the surface/bake the clay. This is followed by a coursed mudbrick wall, remains of whic can be found scattered across the N extent of the trench.
